Kenneth Porter is the Founder & CEO of Kenneth Porter & Company, Ltd., based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. With 28+ years of experience in financial planning and business management, Kenny has dedicated his life to helping individuals and business owners build, protect, and sustain lasting wealth.
A natural teacher and motivator, Kenny is known for making complex financial topics accessible and empowering. He has led hundreds of educational seminars for companies and organizations such as the Christian Broadcast Network (CBN), STIHL Inc., and the Virginia Beach police and fire departments—bringing financial literacy to the forefront of every community he serves.
Kenny began his career in 1996 as a financial advisor, helping grow a private planning firm to $190 million in assets under management. He later scaled an e-commerce and fulfillment business from $1.5 million to over $10 million in revenue in under three years—an experience that deepened his insight into entrepreneurship and risk management. After selling both ventures, he returned to his true calling: coaching people toward financial clarity, confidence, and freedom.
A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Kenny also serves on the Tri Council Board for LEAP (Lifetime Economic Acceleration Process) Systems and is active in leadership at his local church. He and his wife, Kathleen, have been married for over 33 years, and together they enjoy life with their five children and nine grandchildren. Outside the office, you’ll often find Kenny on the basketball court, flying drones, boating, or traveling with family.
